This was on my friend Kate’s blog so I thought I would play along:
Who’s going to be my friend and play along: Comment Me A Memory…..
Come on, take a moment to think. (You know you want to.)
Who’s going to be my friend and play along: Comment Me A Memory…..
Come on, take a moment to think. (You know you want to.)
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don’t want to play on your blog, or if you don’t have a blog, I’ll leave my memory of you in my comments.
Wow, there are many memories, but the one that stands out is the day that I met you up at the school while you were decorating your room. After meeting you, I knew we would be friends for life.
I remember when we ate supper together tonight. Good times!
you cooked too…good job
Well since we have been friends there have been lots of great memories that we have made. I don’t really know which one to put on here…I guess I’ll go with lets take 5 kids to the zoo day! I am so thankful that God has brought your family to our church! We love you all so much!! By the way, the pics are up!
You asked for it: I always think of our love for music and that we use to always joke about being G in the C. No one would have thought from our innocent faces that we listed to rap music. I find it very interesting now that we both have radio dials that never deviate from Contemporary Christian. My the journey we have traveled. Just glad we both have đ
One funny memory I have of you is the clothes-pin game at Paula Nash’s lingerie shower (which I won by the way)! Hope all is well!
I don’t think I could forget the few months that we lived with you guys while our house was being built. Not only were you pregnant with Jake, but you had to share your home with Pat and I! I know it’s strange, but I’ll never forget how you clean toilets (very thorough)!
Melanie,
You won’t believe that I even clean my toilets now. With the little ones toilets aren’t always the cleanest. Clorox drop-ins are the best.:-)
1. I remember playing âBelk Magicâ J
2. I remember walking through the sewer pipes and your neighborâs dog scaring me so bad I wet my pants.
3. I remember the church retreat trip we went on together -camping (& that Black Crowâs song âToo Hard to Handleâ)
4. I remember when you locked me out side in my pjâs ( you sent me out side to get your mom a Tab, I think- from the outside fridge)
5. I remember playing in the street at your house with you, Melissa, and Amy
6. I remember going to the skating rink and spending the night with your grandma in Crystal Towers and going to church
7. I remember the first place I had Buffalo wings was at your house and you and your dad made me think they were really from Buffaloâs
8. I remember going to ride four wheelers at your aunts in Roberta and stoning frogs with flash lights
9. I remember you were my best friend since 3rd grade until you moved to Warner Robins L
10. I remember us trying to teach Colt the concept of time while driving to Burger King ( we had him all messed up)
11. I remember all your âBirthday Girlsâ your grandmother had bought you on your dresser- I thought they were so pretty
12. I remember us ordering Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch concert on pay preview with out my moms permission and getting in BIG trouble
13. I remember when my dad took us to see NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK **** by the way they are coming back to Atlanta soon J********
14. I remember you teaching me the Roger Rabbit and the The Cabbage Patch dance. HAHA

Watching the SuperBowl at your house and the controversial half-time show with JT and JJ!
Sorry it’s taken me so long to do this, but I haven’t been reading blogs lately…can’t sit at the computer w/out feeling sick. But, I have lots of memories of you. I remember you coming down to talk to me when we both worked at NFHS and thinking….She is really cool and it seems we have a lot in common. The first time we talked I knew we’d be friends. I’m so glad you felt similar! I just remember feeling comfortable around you right away and it seemed like our friendship was very easy. I miss you!! Now, you have to comment on mine. đ
