It’s AK’s Birthday

And just like that she turmed seven She has wanted a ninja turtle party for several months. We spent one afternoon making masks for everyone and then we bought swords for the guests to have during the party. It was a total success!!

This girl loves all things glitter, song, drama, dance, dresses, and superheroes. She is some what of an eclectic little thing. I call her my bohemian child and I love every bit of her free spirit. She amazes me!

My first born girl, you love very deeply.  You owe genuinely. Your entire personality is genuine. You are a lover of many things. Cheese being your favorite. You keep us laughing with your genuinely honest conversations that we can’t help but chuckle at most of the times. Here are a few example just so we don’t forget:

She just came down stairs and said “daddy the falcons are playing my favorite sea creature.”
Daddy, when I’m older can we invite a lot of men over here and who ever works the hardest, loves Jesus the most and prays the best we will pick to be my husband.
AK: Daddy how does salt water get in out bodies so we can cry?

Jim: Baby, we have tear ducts that make our tears.
AK: But daddy ducks are to big to get in our eyes.
Mommy why do boys always drive girls wear them when they’re in the car?

Anna because that’s what boys are supposed to do they are gentlemen.
why do boys do things when girls can do all of those things by themselves. That is what a boy in my class does. He always pulls my chair out.!
Are you hungry? AK: “My stomach tells me that I’m not, and my stomach tells me that I am.”
Ak: mom your eyes look really bad.
Me: I know babe I don’t have make up on
Ak: are you going to put make up on so your eyes don’t look so bad?
Me: yes
Ak: What will people say if you don’t put make up on your eyes?

She has waited six long months for this special birthday date. He has her heart and mine too! We are so blessed to have this man in our lives. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl! Daddy, one day she’ll ask for Natalia’s instead of Salsa’s!
