Abandoned

I haven’t abandoned blogging as it would seem by my lack of recent blog postings. I am having problems uploaded pictures to my blog. Life with the Perdue Crew continues to be exciting, challenging, and mundane…

We are currently getting ready for a trip to TN to see all of our friends and enjoy a weekend at Crosspointe. We are looking forward to some fun times with the kiddos. September has been another buys month of school and getting settled in the house. My plan is to be settled on January 1.
Hopefully, I will get some pictures posted soon.

Dove Days in Georgia

Opening day, we enjoyed a couple of hours hanging out with family and friends before the boys headed off to hunt.

AK was upset that she didn’t get to go find the dead birds. When the guys got home she played with those dead birds until they finished cleaning them. Gross!

It’s Great to Be a Georgia Bulldog

Today was the boys reached milestone in the life of a Perdue child. They got to go to a Georgia Bulldog game. This is one of the perks to living in Georgia vs Tennessee during football season. Jim, Jake and Judd got up early Saturday morning and drove to Athens just in time to get pizza and drinks before kick off. It didn’t take long for them to feel the heat from a noon kickoff. Their daddy was kind and kept the hydrated and even treated them to a frozen lemonade.

Both of the boys enjoyed the game. It was even more fun that a couple of their friends had seats right beside them.

While the boys were out cheering the bulldogs to a victory over Buffalo the girls were enjoying a day of shopping for the new house.

It’s the First Day of School (July 25)

This post is a bit late since we started school a month ago. I wanted to get started in July so that we would get ahead before the big move. I really hope to post more about our curriculum for this year, but right now I am just going to post the pictures. Drum roll… our first day of school pictures:
I have a preschooler:

 One kindergartener:

 One second grader:

And one little miss that wanted her picture taken also. She kept saying “Me too, Mommy!”

Jackson Lake 2012: A Family Tradition or Two

This is the yearly seawall picture of the grandkids lined up in birth order. This year we were missing the water.
This year Nana wanted an updated family picture.

By the end of this photo time we felt like this:

This year we participated in the Chick-fil-a Cow Appreciation Day. It was loads of fun. We didn’t get a picture of all the calves lined up 1-12. Too Cute!

Here is my little herd:

Jackson Lake 2012: Fun on the Land

This year we had a blow up slip and slide for three days. We like to add soap to make it more slippery.

The girls liked fishing in the little pool.

We enjoyed a pig one night in addition to a few oysters.

Cards and a few fireworks are always fun memories.

Uncle Dan read a story to all of the younger girls one night before bed.

We had a silly string fight on Thursday.

Look at these sweet girls. Numbers 9 and 10.
 Numbers 11 and 12!
